We are located right here in Hirakud, over at Quarters G18/5. If you know Sambalpur at all, you know this part of Orissa is pretty busy with all the industrial stuff going on near the dam. Most of us have been around here for a while now. The office is just a regular place where we get the daily work done. It gets quite hot in the summers, so we try to get most things handled early in the day. Living and working in the staff quarters means we see the same faces every day, which is nice in a way. It’s not a fancy setup, just a practical one that serves the purpose. We deal with a lot of paperwork and people coming in and out from the plant area. Sometimes the roads get a bit dusty when the trucks are moving, but that is just part of life in this part of Sambalpur. We’ve got our routine down, and everyone knows where to find us if they need anything related to the operations here. It’s a quiet enough spot when the shift changes aren’t happening.
