About Mahima Shoes – Fashion & Trends in Sambalpur
We’ve been running Mahima Shoes here in the Main Market of Gole Bazar for quite a few years now. If you’ve ever walked through this part of the market, you know how crowded it gets, especially on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. Our shop isn’t very big, but we try to fit as many pairs as we can on the shelves. We sell all kinds of footwear, mostly stuff for everyday use like sandals, flip-flops, and some school shoes for the kids. It’s a simple place. We don’t have fancy lighting or air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day. Usually, it's just me and one other person working here. We spend a lot of time rearranging the boxes because people like to try on five different pairs before picking one. The floor is a bit worn out from all the foot traffic, but that’s just how it is in a busy market. We know many of our customers by name because they live just a few streets away. Sometimes they stop by just to say hello or ask about the weather while they’re headed to the grocery stall. We open the shutters around ten in the morning and stay until the market starts to wind down in the evening. It’s steady work and we like being part of the noise and life here in Gole Bazar. We don’t do anything fancy, just sell shoes that last.
