Sukrit Industries

We have been here at Sukrit Industries in the Phase-1 area of the Igc Industrial Area for quite a while now. It is situated in Tehsil Samba, which gets pretty hot during the summer months. Most mornings start early before the sun really gets a chance to beat down on the corrugated roofs of the buildings around us. You can hear the sounds of trucks backing up and the general hum of the other factories nearby. It is a busy spot. We mostly focus on our daily tasks and making sure things get done right the first time. There is a lot of dust sometimes because of the construction and the traffic on the main road, but that is just how it is in an industrial zone. We do not have any fancy offices or anything like that. Just a simple setup where we spend most of our day. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we have to wait it out, which gives everyone a chance to sit and have some tea. It is not always easy work, and some days are definitely longer than others. We know most of the people working in the units next to us by their first names. It feels like a small community even though it is just a bunch of metal buildings and concrete. We just keep our heads down and try to keep things moving along as best as we can.
