Jordon Fashion Club

You can find Jordon Fashion Club right near the Guruduwara. It is a good landmark because everyone knows it. The street is always full of people, especially on weekends when everyone is out and about. We spend a lot of time looking at different fabrics and styles that come in. Sometimes the colors are exactly what we wanted, and other times they aren't, but we make it work. We just put them out on the racks and see what people think. It’s a small space, so it gets crowded pretty fast when a few families come in at once. We don’t have those big bright lights like the malls do. We just use what we have. My cousin helps out with the displays, though he isn't always the best at it, to be honest. We laugh about it later. People come in looking for something for a wedding or just a nice shirt for work. We try to find what fits them. The noise from the street comes inside whenever the door opens. It makes the place feel alive. We eat our lunch in the back room between customers. It’s usually just simple home-cooked food. Running a fashion spot like this means keeping an eye on what people are wearing in the neighborhood. We don’t try to be something we aren't. We are just here near the Guruduwara, keeping the shop open and helping folks find a good outfit.
