Choudhary Hospital Of Akhnoor

Being located right on the Jammu Akhnoor Highway means we see a lot of different people. Some are just passing through, and others live right here in Akhnoor. We are quite close to the Kameshwar Mandir, so we often hear the bells or see people heading there for prayers. The hospital itself is a simple building. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. Most mornings, we arrive and get the fans going because it can get quite stuffy. The highway noise is a constant thing, with horns and engines echoing all day long. At Choudhary Hospital Of Akhnoor, the work is pretty straightforward. People come in, they tell us what’s wrong, and we do what we can to help them out. The waiting room has some old magazines and a water cooler that gets a lot of use. We know the shopkeepers nearby and often see them for a quick chat. It’s a practical environment. We don't spend money on fancy paint or expensive furniture. We just make sure the rooms are clean and the medicines are stocked. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just life here. We’ve been part of this community for a while, and we’ve seen the highway change over the years. It’s just a regular part of the day for us to be here, helping out whoever walks through the door.
