Varun Store

Varun Store is tucked away in Ward No- 3 of Dargaspur village, right near the Hanuman Mandir. Since we are close to NH-28 in the Bachwara block, we get a mix of local neighbors and people just passing through on the highway. It is a small shop, but we try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves. You might find some snacks, tea, soap, or whatever else someone forgot to pick up in the bigger town of Nawada. The temple is right nearby, so we hear the bells and see people coming and going for prayers all day. Sometimes we just sit on the bench outside when there aren't any customers and chat with the people walking past. The store isn't anything fancy to look at, just a simple building with some wooden counters and a lot of jars filled with sweets for the kids. During the monsoon, the road gets a bit muddy, but people still make their way here. We open early in the morning and stay open until late evening because you never know when someone might need a light bulb or a packet of salt. It is a quiet kind of life in the village, and we like being part of the daily routine for the folks living around here. We just count the change and keep the shelves stocked as best as we can.
