Ssra Foundation

Ssra Foundation is based in Samastipur, specifically in the Kashipur area at SMP 06. We are located at Dr. Anil Kumar’s place, he is the son of Kusheshwar Thakur. It’s a well-known spot in the neighborhood, so most people don't have a hard time finding us. Our workspace is pretty simple. It's mostly just a desk and some chairs where we sit and go over whatever needs our attention for the day. Samastipur is a busy town, and there is always plenty of stuff to keep us occupied. We aren't a massive charity with lots of money. We are just a small group of folks who wanted to put our time to good use. We don't use big words or have long mission statements. We just look at what’s wrong and try to figure out a way to fix it. Sometimes we have to wait a long time for things to get done, but we are patient. We keep our files in a few drawers and try to remember to lock the door when we leave in the evening. There isn't any fancy marketing here. People just tell each other about us if they think we can help. It’s a straightforward way to run things. We are just trying to be a positive part of the community here in Kashipur without making a big deal out of it. We take things as they come and do our best.
