Shreeja Nidhi Limited is located on T. Parmanand Marg in Samastipur. Kanhaiya Kumar’s place is where we set up the office. It’s near the Patori post office, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. The street is usually lined with bicycles and small shops. Inside our office, things are pretty basic. We have a couple of desks pushed together and some shelves for the files. It gets a bit crowded when more than three people are inside, so some folks wait outside on the steps. We handle the local savings and paperwork for the people in Samastipur. It’s not a high-tech setup; we use a lot of paper and ink. The fan overhead clicks a bit, but it keeps the air moving. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. Most of our day is spent talking to members and filling out forms. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on being here every day so people know they can find us. The 858504 area is home for us, and we like being right on the main path where everyone walks by. It’s a lot of work to keep everything organized, but we stay on top of it. Some days are slower than others, but there is always something to write in the books.
