Being near the highway in Motipur means there is always a lot of movement around us. You can hear the big trucks rolling past at all hours of the day and night. We are situated right there on the edge, where the dust from the road settles on everything if you don't keep after it with a broom. It’s a practical spot for the kind of work we do. People driving through the area sometimes stop to ask for directions or just to see what we are doing here. We don't mind the company. The building is simple, nothing too big or modern to look at. We spend our mornings getting things ready and checking on all the equipment. It gets very hot in the middle of the day, so we usually take a bit of a break when the sun is at its peak. There isn't much else around us except for the main road and some open fields further back. It makes the work feel focused and quiet in its own way. We’ve got a small crew here and we just get on with the tasks at hand. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow because of where we are, but we make do with what we have. It’s an honest way to spend the time. We don't spend much money on decorating or making things look pretty. It’s just a workspace near the highway where the work gets done.
