Milan Ice Factory

Our factory is situated in Jorpura Village which is in Patori Tehsil. We are located near the Sshamstipur Railway Station. Since we are so close to the station we hear the trains going by all the time. We aren't a retail shop where people come to sit down. We are an ice factory. We have several big machines that make ice all day and night. It is a lot of hard work and maintenance to keep everything running. We supply ice to various people and businesses in the area. It involves a lot of heavy lifting and moving blocks around. The village itself is small but our work keeps us very occupied. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We just focus on meeting our daily production numbers. The factory floor is almost always wet and it stays very cold inside the building. That is just how it is when you work with ice. We don't have any fancy offices or meeting rooms. I just have a small desk where I keep the books. Most of my time is spent on the floor checking the machines and talking to the drivers. It is tough work but it is what we have been doing for years. People in the area know us as the local ice source, anyway.
