Ivrcl Infrastructure & Projects Ltd

Our setup is in Bandey, which is a village near Patory in the Samastipur district. To get here, you have to follow the road past the main market. It’s a rural area, so the office for Ivrcl Infrastructure & Projects Ltd is pretty basic. We’ve got a small building with a few rooms. One room is just for storing tools and safety gear. The other is where we do the accounting and project planning. It gets very quiet at night, but during the day, there's a lot of activity with the locals and our crew. We deal with a lot of road and water projects around Bihar from this spot. The office has a corrugated metal roof, so you can hear the rain really loudly during the monsoon. We don't have fancy office furniture, just what we need to get the job done. Often, we are out at the sites more than we are in the office. People in the village know us as the infrastructure company. We try to keep things simple. There’s a well nearby where we get our water. It’s a different pace of life than in the big cities. We don't have a lot of formal meetings. Most decisions are made over a cup of tea standing outside in the yard. It’s a tough environment but we’ve gotten used to the challenges of working in Samastipur. It is what it is, and we make it work.
