Gajanand Traders

Gajanand Traders is right on Mohanpur Road in the Harpur A Lot area. We’re pretty close to the D A V School, so we see the kids and parents passing by every morning and afternoon. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our stock and talk to customers. We sell various things depending on what people in the area are looking for. It gets a bit hectic when the school lets out and the traffic picks up. We usually have one or two of us behind the counter and maybe someone in the back moving boxes around. It’s a simple life running a trade business. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or checking what’s left on the shelves. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery, which can be frustrating for everyone. The building is older, but it stays cool enough in the summer. We know most of the people who come in by their first names since they live nearby. We don't do much advertising. People just know we are here on Mohanpur Road. We try to keep the place tidy, but with all the inventory coming in and out, it's hard to stay organized. We just take it one day at a time. It’s not a big corporate store, just a regular local shop where we try to be helpful to anyone who walks through the door.
