Ambey Cement Bricks

You can find us over at Plot No. Sh 88 on Dak Bungalow Road. We are pretty close to the Singhia Bus Stand, and you can see Sri Balaji Hospital and the State Bank of India branch from nearby. It’s a busy area with a lot of people moving around, especially near the bus stand. We mostly focus on making cement bricks. It is a straightforward operation here. We have the space to mix the cement and set the bricks out in the sun to dry. People building homes or shops in the Singhia area often stop by to check our stock before they start their projects. It’s dusty work, and our hands are always rough from the wet cement, but it’s what we do. We aren't a huge factory with hundreds of workers, just a local yard serving the neighborhood. Sometimes the trucks have a bit of trouble navigating the narrow parts of the road when it’s busy, but we get the deliveries out eventually. We keep a close eye on the mix to make sure the bricks come out strong enough. If they aren't strong, they aren't worth anything to anyone. Most days, we are just out there in the yard, moving pallets and checking on how the drying process is going. It is a lot of physical labor, but seeing a truck leave full of bricks makes it feel worth it. We've been near the bus stand for a while, so most folks around here know our name and where we sit.
