Action For Human Service Foundation is located in a small part of Village Jale. Specifically, we are over in Tola Jale, which is in the south part of the Jale panchayat. If you are looking for us, we are at Shabana Khatoon’s place. It’s a quiet village area, nothing like the big cities you see on TV. Life moves a bit slower here in Jale. We spend most of our time just dealing with the stuff that comes up every day. The foundation is part of the village life now. People know where we are. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. It is just us here in the village trying to keep things moving. The roads can be a bit dusty in the summer and muddy when it rains, but we manage. You won't find any shiny signs or big billboards directing you to Action For Human Service Foundation. We just have our office in the house and that is enough for the work we do. Most of the people around here are neighbors we have known for years. Shabana Khatoon helps keep things organized. We sit in the front room or out in the courtyard depending on the weather. It is a very basic way of doing things but it gets the job done. We are glad to be right here in Tola Jale instead of somewhere far away. It feels right to be part of the local scene here.
