Lahvinder Tea

Lahvinder Tea is out in Village Nabha, which falls under the Nabha Tehsil. We are near the post office and not too far from Village New Lohana. It is a very rural setting compared to the big cities. The air is different here, much quieter except for the sounds of the village. Our shop is a small building that sits near the main path people take. We serve the locals who live nearby and people passing through on their way to New Lohana. The routine is very steady. We get the milk from the local farms and start the fire early. There is something peaceful about watching the village wake up while the tea is brewing. We don't have many customers during the middle of the day when everyone is out in the fields, but the mornings and evenings are quite lively. The interior is very basic, just some shelves for the jars of sugar and tea, and a place to sit. Sometimes we have to deal with the rain making the ground muddy outside, which makes it harder for people to stop by. We have been in this spot for a long time, and the building shows its age a little bit, but it is sturdy. It is just a part of the daily life in Nabha. People come here to rest for a minute and then go back to their work. We keep the kettle going almost all day long.
