Bhangu Rice Mills

Bhangu Rice Mills is over in Village Sakrali, right on Nabha Road. If you are looking for us, we are on the left side of Kohinoor Palace in Bhadson. It is a busy place around here with trucks pulling in and out at all hours. We get started quite early most mornings while the air is still a bit cool. The noise from the machines can be a lot, but you get used to it after a few days of working here. Our building is just a simple structure, nothing fancy at all. We spend a lot of time sweeping up dust and making sure the bags are stacked right. The sun hits the metal roof in the afternoon and it gets pretty warm inside the mill. We usually take our breaks sitting on the steps or near the entrance. Sakrali is mostly a quiet village, but being on Nabha Road means there is always some traffic passing by. We have seen a lot of things change around here over the years, with new shops popping up nearby, but our mill stays pretty much the same. It is honest work and it keeps us busy through the seasons. My hands are usually pretty dirty by the time we break for lunch. We do not have any big office staff or anything like that. It is just us doing the work day after day. When the palace next door has a function, we hear the music while we work.
