Our place is House No-29 in Nilokheri, right near the station area. It is a convenient spot because we can hear the trains coming and going all day. We work with herbs and plants. It involves a lot of drying and packing into bags. The house has been converted into a workspace, so it still feels a bit like a home to us. We have rows of shelves for the different dried leaves and roots we stock. It smells very earthy and fresh in here. We get our supplies from local collectors and some farms. Sometimes the quality is not what we expected, so we have to sort through everything by hand. It is tedious work and your back starts to ache after a few hours of standing. We do not have any big fancy machines to do the job. It is mostly just us and some basic tools on the table. The station area is always busy with people traveling. We sometimes get folks walking in thinking it is still a regular house. We just show them the herbs and they usually move on. We are not trying to be a massive corporation at all. We just like working with plants and nature. It is quiet work for the most part. We have a small garden in the back where we try to grow things. It does not always work out well, but we try anyway.
