Dev International School

Dev International School is located out in Butana, near Nilokheri in the Karnal area. It’s a bit of a drive for some, but it’s where we are situated. The school sits on a piece of land that gets plenty of sun. Around here, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We have students coming in from the nearby villages and the town itself. The building has enough rooms for the different classes we run. We spend a lot of time just managing the daily schedule and making sure everyone is where they should be at the right time. It’s not a flashy place. You’ll see the school name on the front when you pull up to the main gate. We deal with the usual stuff like books, uniforms, and keeping the grounds mostly tidy for the students. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out until it comes back. The teachers are local people for the most part. They know the families around here pretty well. During the monsoon, the road can get a bit muddy, but we manage to keep things going. It's a practical setup for the kids in this part of Haryana. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. It's just desks, chairs, and some play space outside for when the weather isn't too harsh. People in Nilokheri know us as the school down the road in Butana. We just focus on getting the daily lessons finished so the kids can go home.
