Rajpoot Traders

Working near Hydle Main Road means there is always noise. You get used to the trucks rumbling past Rajpoot Traders all day long. We spend a lot of our time just moving boxes around and making sure we haven’t run out of the basic stuff people come in for. The floor gets dusty pretty fast with the door open, so someone is always sweeping. It’s a simple setup. We have the shelves, the counter, and a small back room for the inventory that doesn’t fit out front. Sometimes the deliveries show up late because of the traffic on the main road, and that messes up the whole afternoon. I usually sit by the ledger under the fan when it’s quiet, just checking what we sold. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. People from the neighborhood drop in to ask for things, and if we don’t have it, we try to get it in the next load. We’ve been at this location for a bit, and everyone knows where the shop is because of the big tree nearby. My hands are usually a bit dirty from handling the packaging, but that’s just how it goes when you’re running a trading business. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just walk in or call the shop phone. It is just a regular place doing regular work every day in this busy part of town.
