V.R.P Constructions, Erode.

Our base is out in Namakkal district, specifically in a place called Mathiyampatti. If you're looking for us, we're at Iyyer Thottam in the Mamundi post area of Rasipuram. Being in a more rural part of the region means our construction work is quite different from what you see in the big cities. We deal with a lot of local projects and the guys here are used to working in the sun all day long. V.R.P Constructions isn't a massive firm with a lot of layers. It’s just a group of us who know how to handle tools and machinery. The office is more like a shed where we keep the equipment and some old ledgers. We spend most of our time at the actual sites, making sure the foundations are poured right and the walls are straight. It can be a bit quiet out here, but we like it that way because we can focus on the work. There’s a lot of dust and noise when a project is in full swing, but that’s the reality of building anything. We don’t use any fancy words to describe what we do. We just take on a job and try to finish it before the next monsoon season hits. It’s hard work and our boots are always covered in mud, but we take a certain kind of pride in seeing a building stand up in Erode and the surrounding areas.
