South India Herbs

South India Herbs is out in Attur, specifically at 17/354 J Kandasamy Nagar in Vinayagapuram. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the city center, but we like it out here. We work with different kinds of herbs. The place smells like dried leaves and earth most of the time. We have a big shed where we store the stock. It’s not a polished corporate office. There’s dust on the shelves and the floor is concrete. We spend a lot of time sorting through things by hand. My family helps out, and we have a couple of guys from the village who come in to help with the heavy bags. We use an old scale for weighing. It’s worked for years, so we see no reason to change it. Kandasamy Nagar is a quiet area, which is good for us. We get the herbs from local sources and then we prep them here. There’s always a lot of packing to do. We don't have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we have, they just come into the warehouse. The sun gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a break then. We’ve been at this address, 17/354 J, for a good while. It's just a regular herb business. No big talk, just getting the orders ready and sent out. We stay busy through the seasons and handle the work as it comes.
