We are Vijayalatha & Co and we have our base set up in Salem, Tamil Nadu. If you know the area with the 637504 pincode, that is exactly where you will find us working away most days. Salem is a busy place for trade and we have been a part of it for a good while now. Our day usually starts pretty early because that is how things work around here if you want to get anything finished before the sun gets too high. We do not have a big shiny office with glass walls. It is more of a practical space where we can sit down and talk to people who come by to do business. We focus on getting things right rather than looking important. Sometimes the phones are ringing non-stop and other days it is just us catching up on the ledgers. Being in Tamil Nadu, we see a lot of different people coming through and we just try to be helpful and honest about what we can do. There isn't much more to it than that. We have seen the town change a lot over the years but our spot remains pretty much the same. It is a family-run kind of thing where everyone knows their job and we just get on with it. We don't spend money on fancy brochures because we prefer to just talk to people face to face. It’s just how we’ve always done it here in Salem.
