Vela Travels

Our office is at No 4/47 on Venkatrav Street. Most people know the area because we are right across from Vidhyavani Silks and near Hotel Residency. It is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. We have been running Vela Travels from this spot in Salem for quite a while. It is a small operation. We mostly deal with local transport and helping people get to different places around the 636001 area. My brother and I manage the bookings. Sometimes we are out on the road ourselves. The street gets quite busy with shoppers and visitors to the hotel. We keep the cars parked nearby. It is not a big fancy office, just a desk and some chairs for customers to sit while we sort out their travel plans. We handle a lot of different requests. Some people want to go to the station, others have longer trips in mind. We just listen to what they need and tell them what we can do. No complicated stuff. We know the roads around here like the back of our hands. If the traffic is bad on Venkatrav Street, we usually know a different way to get the car out. It is just what we do every day. We enjoy meeting the different people who stop by the shop. It keeps things interesting for us while we work through the heat.
