Thillai Nathan Provision Store

I’ve been running Thillai Nathan Provision Store for a while now here in Mallikundam. It’s right near the S.O in Mettur, and most people around here know where to find us. We mostly deal with the usual things people need every day like rice, dal, and cooking oils. It’s not a big fancy place, just a regular shop where we try to keep things organized enough so you can find what you need quickly. The morning time is usually the busiest because everyone wants their supplies before they start cooking for the day. Sometimes the delivery trucks come late and things get a bit messy behind the counter, but we manage to get it sorted out by the afternoon. We have been in this spot for years and seen the road change quite a bit. It’s mostly just me and a couple of helpers making sure the bags are filled and the change is right. People from the nearby houses stop by to chat as much as they do to buy stuff. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop here on the street. It’s a lot of lifting heavy sacks and sweeping the floor at the end of the day. Some days are slow when the weather is too hot, and we just sit under the fan waiting for the evening rush. It’s a simple life running a provision store in a place like Mettur.
