Thambi Medical Surgical Eye Hospital

We are over at 51 LRN Colony, right on Saradha College Road. This is Thambi Medical Surgical Eye Hospital. As you can tell by the name, we mostly just look at eyes. It’s a specialized place, so we have a lot of lenses and machines for testing vision. The hospital isn't a massive complex, just a decent-sized building where we can do surgeries and checkups. Salem can get pretty warm, so the waiting room is usually air-conditioned to keep everyone comfortable. We get a lot of older folks coming in for cataracts and things like that. Often they have their grandkids with them, so the place can get a bit lively. We don't have a fancy coffee shop or anything inside. Just some water and a place to sit. The surgical side of things stays pretty busy. We have a routine that we follow every day. It’s about checking eyes, cleaning equipment, and talking to patients about their sight. We’ve been on Saradha College Road for quite a while now. Most people find us because a friend told them to come here. We don't do much in the way of promotion. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a quiet sort of job most of the time. We just want to make sure people can see better when they leave. It’s a lot of fine work with small tools, but it's what we do.
