Thamarai Travels

Thamarai Travels is way out at 521 Sastha Nagar. We're situated right by the Bangalore Bypass near the Five Road area in Salem. If you're looking for us, the Iyyapan Temple is the best landmark to use. We’re also close to Kuranku Chavadi. Being near the bypass means we see a lot of long-distance traffic passing through. It gets dusty and loud with all the trucks and cars, but it’s a good spot for a travel business. We’ve set up shop here to handle the needs of people in the 636005 area. It’s a bit different from being in the middle of the old city. Everything feels a bit more spread out. The office isn't much to look at, just a functional space where we handle the day's work. We spend our time talking to drivers and passengers. There’s always someone coming in for directions or to check on a booking. We don’t use any complicated systems. It’s mostly just us and our notebooks. Living and working near the temple gives the area a certain feel. On festival days, it gets really busy around here. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. No fancy slogans, just Thamarai Travels doing its thing out by the Five Road junction. It’s a practical location for what we do. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we drink our morning coffee and wait for the first customer.
