Our company is located in a small place called Vellalappatty, which is near Salem. We are on Muslim Street at number 1/564. This is where we handle all our lining work. The office and the workshop are essentially in the same spot, which makes it easier for us to see what is going on. It’s a very local operation. Most of us who work here are from the surrounding area. We’ve been at this address for many years now and everyone around here knows where we are. It’s not a fancy environment. We don't have air conditioning, so the fans are always running to keep the heat down. It’s quite practical and down-to-earth. The street can be a bit narrow, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze when we have deliveries coming in. We spend our days mostly doing hands-on work and dealing with the paperwork as it comes. We aren't really into big marketing or corporate stuff. We just do the work and let the results speak for themselves. There is usually some noise from the equipment in the back, and we often have tea with the neighbors during our breaks. It’s a simple way of living and working. We keep our records in a few old cabinets and try to stay as organized as we can. It’s just an honest business run by local people who have been doing this for a long time. We like being part of the community here.
