Our place is at No.21 in A Sathya Nagar, right in the Vidhya Nagar section of Ammapettai. We are situated right across from Saradas Theater, so there is always a crowd nearby when a big movie is playing. It’s a lively part of Salem to work in. We’ve got a small office here where we keep our tools and some samples of materials we use. Most of the time, the air is full of the sound of the city, and we are usually busy coordinating with workers or checking on deliveries. We don't spend all day inside; construction happens out in the sun, so we are often out at sites until late. When we are here, we’re usually sitting at the old metal desk trying to get the books in order or sketching out a new idea. It’s a practical workspace, nothing too fancy to look at. We like the local feel of Ammapettai and the fact that we can just walk down the street to get whatever we need. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to ask a quick question about a crack in their wall or a renovation they're thinking about. We give them a straight answer based on what we know. There’s no sales pitch here, just some folks who know how to build things and want to do a decent job for the people who trust us. That’s pretty much how we run things every day.
