We are located at number 2/100 on Adhidravidar Street in Pudhu Colony. This is out in Saminayadkanpatti, which is part of Omalur near Salem. It’s a local Nidhi company. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. Most of our members are from the surrounding colony or nearby villages. They come to us when they have a little extra to put away or when they need a bit of help with a loan. We keep things very plain. The office is just a room with some tables and our books. We write everything down and make sure the accounts are right. It’s important to be accurate with people’s money. We don't spend money on big ads or shiny brochures. Word of mouth is how most people find us. It’s a small community and everyone knows everyone else. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out or work by the window. That's just how it is in this part of Salem. We handle the paperwork, take the deposits, and talk to the members when they stop by. It’s not a complicated setup. We just want to provide a place where neighbors can handle their finances without having to travel all the way into the big city centers. It’s a simple life and we like running the business this way. It feels more personal than the big banks. We've been here for a while and know the area well and the families here too.
