Srinivasaa Traders

Started here in Namagiripettai quite a while back. The shop is at 39/6 Sasthiri Nagar. It is mostly me and a couple of others handling the daily stock. Things get busy around mid-morning when people start coming in for their usual needs. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the bags pile up near the entrance. It's just part of how we work. The street outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, so we spend a good amount of time cleaning the counters. We aren't a big operation, just a local spot where people know us by name. Most of our day is spent checking what's in and what's out. Sometimes we run out of things faster than we expected, and then it's a scramble to get more. My nephew helps out on weekends when school is closed. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk with a ledger and some stools for customers to sit on while they wait. It’s a simple life. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. New houses coming up and old ones being fixed. But our spot stays pretty much the same. People drop by for a chat even if they aren't buying anything. That's how it goes in a small town like this. We just keep doing what we do every day. We don't need much more than that really.
