If you walk down C C Road in Salem, you will find us at No 72 Sivam Complex. Sri Thangamylion Travels is a local spot where we handle all sorts of travel requests. It’s not a big corporate office, just us in a room with some maps and ledgers on the table. We spend most of our mornings checking the vehicles and making sure the drivers are ready to go for the day. C C Road can get pretty packed with people and bikes, so there is always something happening outside the shop window. We ended up at Sivam Complex because it is easy for people to find when they are out doing their regular errands. Usually, we are just sitting here dealing with the phones or talking to someone who walked in off the street wanting to visit family or go on a small trip. Some days are slow and we just drink tea and talk about the traffic, and other days it feels like everyone in Salem wants to go somewhere at once. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few of us trying to make sure the cars are clean and the trips go okay. Sometimes we make mistakes with the timing, but we always try to fix it quickly. It’s just how a small business works here. We like being part of this community and seeing familiar faces come back to the complex time after time.
