Sri Selvam Hospital

Sri Selvam Hospital is found at 15 Udaippa Colony in the Hastampatti area. People sometimes spell it Hastampattyn too. We are tucked into the colony, which makes it feel a bit more like a neighborhood place than some of the bigger facilities in the city. Udaippa Colony is a quiet enough street, though you still get the usual delivery bikes and people walking by. Number 15 is our spot. We have been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by name. Hastampatti is a busy part of the region, but once you turn into the colony, things slow down a little bit. The hospital building itself is pretty functional. We do not spend money on fancy decorations; we just keep the floors scrubbed and the lights working. There is a small tree out near the entrance that gives a bit of shade in the afternoons. Sometimes the mailman stops for a chat when he brings the letters. It is that kind of place. We have a routine here, starting early in the morning before the sun gets too high. Being in Udaippa Colony means we are part of the local fabric. We see the same kids walking to school and the same people going to work. It is just a normal hospital in a normal part of Hastampatti, doing what we need to do every day without much fuss or bother. That is about it for us.
