Sri Saravana Stores

We are right on the Main Road in Shevapet, at number 260. Being on the Main Road means it is always noisy with buses and bikes going past but we like the energy of it. This store has been a part of Shevapet for a long time and we have seen the area change quite a bit. We sell all sorts of general items that people need for their houses. The shelves are packed pretty tight and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for. We have a couple of boys who help with the lifting and reaching the high shelves. It is a family-run kind of place so there is usually some conversation going on between us and the customers. We don't have a website or anything like that because most people just walk in or call us on the phone. The morning time is usually the busiest when everyone is out doing their shopping before the heat of the day. We keep the doors open to let the breeze in but that also lets in the dust from the road. You just get used to it after a while. It’s a basic shop where we try to keep things simple and help out the folks in the community with whatever they are looking for.
