If you are walking down Salem Main Road in Attur, you will see us at No 82. We are very close to the MGR Silai, which is a big landmark everyone knows. Sri Jayaraman Travel Agency has been part of this street for quite some time. The noise from the traffic is constant, but you get used to it after a while. Most of our work involves taking people on long trips or helping them get across the district for errands. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big sign with flashing lights. It’s just a desk, some chairs, and the sound of the main road outside. We focus on the practical side of things, like making sure the tires aren't bald and the drivers have had enough sleep. People stop by because they see the sign while they are out shopping or heading to work. We talk to them, figure out the timing, and write it down. It is a very basic way of doing things, but it works for us and our customers. We’ve seen the town change a lot over the years, but the need for a good ride hasn't changed. Whether it’s a trip to the hospital or a visit to relatives, we just provide the wheels. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency around, just one that stays open and does the work.
