Southern Transports

Southern Transports is based at No 5 and 6 on Ayyasamy Road in the Shevapet area of Salem. Shevapet is a busy commercial hub, so there are always trucks and goods moving around us. We are right in the thick of it all. Our work is mostly about moving things and making sure deliveries get where they are supposed to be on time. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and long hours, but that is the nature of transport in a place like this. The office is usually covered in paperwork and delivery notes. We have been on Ayyasamy Road for a while, and we know most of the other business owners nearby who are doing the same kind of work. It’s a noisy, dusty environment, but it feels productive to be here. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or advertising. Word of mouth is how most people find us. We just focus on the trucks and the daily schedules. Sometimes a shipment gets delayed because of a mechanical breakdown or a closed road, and we have to spend the whole night sorting it out. That’s just part of the job. We aren't a big corporation with polished offices; we are just a group of people who understand how to move goods through the streets of Salem. Every day is different, and we just take it as it comes. It is hard work, but someone has to do it to keep things moving for everyone else.
