Smr Travels is situated at 25, Subbarayan Road in Salem. If you know where Selvi Mess is, we are right near there. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows the mess and it helps people find us without needing a map. Our office is a quiet little spot where we manage our travel bookings every single day. We mostly deal with local people who want to hire a car for a day or perhaps need a driver for a longer trip out of the city to see relatives. We chose this location because it’s easy to explain to people—just tell them we’re near the mess and they usually find us without any trouble. We don't have a big team or a lot of corporate rules and manuals. It’s just us doing the best we can with the cars we have available. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just chatting with customers who drop by after having their lunch nearby. The street can get a bit crowded with parked bikes and people walking, but that is just Salem for you on a weekday. We keep a close eye on our vehicles and make sure they are in good shape for the road. Sometimes things don't go perfectly, maybe a tire goes flat or there is a big delay in the city traffic, but we just deal with it as it happens. We aren't looking to be famous or huge, just a reliable place for a ride when you need one.
