Sigaram Academy

Sigaram Academy is at No 11 in Udayapa Colony, which is in the Hastampatti area of Salem. We are directly opposite the Arts College, so there are always lots of students walking around this neighborhood. Our building is a simple one, and we’ve been here for several years now. We offer a place for people to come and improve their skills or get help with their classes. It is a quiet colony for the most part, which is good for studying. We have a few classrooms that we keep as organized as we can, though things get a bit messy when we are in the middle of a busy term. There are no fancy lounges or high-tech lobbies here. It is just a place with chairs, boards, and books. We open our doors every morning and usually stay until the sun goes down. Most of the people who come to us are local residents from Salem. We know most of our students by name because we see them every day. It’s a very personal way of doing things. We don't spend money on big billboards. We just focus on the work at hand. If you’re coming from the Arts College side, you just have to cross the road and look for No 11. It’s a plain building but we do a lot of work inside those walls every single week. We aren't perfect, but we try hard to help everyone.
