The office stays busy mostly during the first week of the month. We sit here at 4/3/3-A in Ram Nagar and just handle the daily walk-ins. Meyyanur is a part of town where everyone seems to be in a hurry, but in our office, things move at a slower pace because of the paperwork. We spend a lot of time writing in ledgers and answering phone calls about monthly payments. It’s a plain office with a few desks and some old chairs for visitors. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a bit of noise, but we’re used to it by now. Being in Auditor Colony means we have a lot of professional neighbors around. We aren't trying to do anything fancy, just keeping the chit records straight for the people who come to us. On rainy days, the street gets a bit muddy, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the floor. It’s just how it is running a small local business like this. Most of us have been working here for years, so we know the regular faces. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few desks, some files, and a lot of tea to get through the afternoon. If you walk past the main road, you might miss us if you aren't looking for the number. We usually have the radio on low just to keep some background noise going while we work.
