Sharon Hospital

Sharon Hospital is located at No 18 Tanmag Road in Kannankurichi. We’ve been part of this community for a while now. The building is right on the main road, so it’s easy to spot when you’re driving through. It’s a decent-sized place with several wards and rooms. Most of the staff live around here too, so we all know each other. I usually start my shift by checking the supply closet. We go through a lot of bandages and medicine every week. The waiting room gets full in the afternoons. People sit and chat while they wait for their turn. Kannankurichi is a nice area, and Tanmag Road is usually busy with people going to market. We get patients from the nearby villages as well. They come by bus or on their scooters. The hospital isn't brand new or filled with high-tech gadgets you’d see in the city, but we have what’s necessary. It feels more like a community spot than a cold institution. I spend a lot of time helping people fill out their details at the entrance. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to switch on the generator. It’s just one of those things you deal with. We don’t have a marketing department writing fancy slogans for us. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure everyone who comes to No 18 gets seen.
