We are based at No-6 in the Kamaraj Nager Colony, right on Peramanur Main Road in Salem. It is a busy part of town and we have been here long enough to know most of the people who walk past our door every day. We do engineering work, mostly fixing things or making parts that people need for their shops or homes. The workshop is usually a bit messy with scraps of metal and different tools lying around, but we know where everything is. Salem is a place where people value hard work and we try to live up to that. When the sun goes down, the street gets a little quieter but we are often still inside finishing up a project. We don't spend money on big signs or advertising because word of mouth usually brings people to us. They know they can come to Peramanur Main Road and find us working. It is a small team here and we all know our roles well. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to move everything away from the door, but usually, it’s just the normal heat and the sound of the machines running. We like being part of the colony and having a place where we can just focus on the mechanical side of things without any distractions. It is honest work and it keeps us going throughout the year.
