Sarathy Travels

Our little office for Sarathy Travels is over at 55-B, Dr. Subbarayan Road in the Agraharam area. It’s a fairly old part of Salem and we like it that way because it has character. The building isn't new, and the street can be narrow, but it feels like home to us. We handle a lot of local travel stuff, mostly helping neighbors and people from the nearby streets who need a reliable ride. We don't have a huge fleet or a fancy website with buttons, just some reliable cars and drivers who know these roads better than anyone else in town. Most of the time, you'll find us sitting around the desk, checking the logs and making sure the maintenance is done on the vehicles. Dr. Subbarayan Road has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it over the years. We didn't set out to change the world, we just wanted to provide a way for people in Agraharam to get where they need to go. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, or the power goes out and we have to work by candlelight for a bit, but we always manage to get things done. It’s a straightforward business. We talk to the customers, figure out the best time for them to leave, and make sure the driver knows the way. It’s just honest work and we’re glad to be doing it here in Salem every day.
