Aranga Fashions

My family has been at 102 Salai Road for a bit now. Aranga Fashions is just what we do every day. It's not a big fancy place, just a regular shop where we handle clothes and talk to people who walk in. Some days are busy, some are slow, that's just how it is. We spend most of our time sorting through stock or fixing up the displays. Salai Road gets a lot of traffic, so there's always something to look at outside the door. We started this because we needed a way to make a living and we knew a bit about fabrics. It’s mostly just us here, keeping things moving. We don't have a big team or a human resources department. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves. Most of our regulars live nearby and stop by just to say hello. We try to keep things simple. You won't find any glossy brochures here. Sometimes the floor needs a sweep and the coffee is cold, but the clothes are what they are. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New buildings go up, old ones get painted, but we’re still here at the same spot. It’s a job, you know? It keeps us busy and we like the people we meet. Nothing more to it than that. Just a shop on a street where we try to get things done without making a big fuss about it. It works for us and our customers seem to mind their own business too.
