Sail

We’re based in Salem, Tamil Nadu, specifically at C28/21 in the SSP Township in Mohan Nagar. The address is a bit of a mouthful, but once you’re here, it’s easy to find. We operate as Sail. The township has a very specific feel to it, very industrial but also lived-in. Our office is a modest space. We’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that run non-stop to beat the Tamil Nadu heat. There’s nothing fancy about our setup. We use basic wooden desks and some old metal chairs that have been around since we started. We don’t do big advertising or try to sound like a giant corporation. We’re just people from the local area working hard. Most of our day is spent dealing with the logistics of what we do. It’s not always exciting, but it’s steady work. We take our breaks at the local canteen or just bring lunch from home. There’s a sense of community in Mohan Nagar that we really enjoy. Everyone knows everyone else's business, for better or worse. We’ve stayed here because it’s convenient and it feels like home. We don’t use any complicated jargon or try to impress anyone with big words. We just do the job and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a simple, honest way to live and work. We appreciate the practicality of our little corner in Salem.
