S P M M Hospital

Our hospital is situated at No. 29 on the Cuddalore Main Road. Being in Ammapettai, we get a lot of travelers passing by as well as the locals who live just around the corner. S P M M Hospital is right on the edge of the road, so you can’t really miss it if you are driving through. The traffic on the main road is quite heavy with lorries going towards Cuddalore. It creates a lot of noise throughout the day. The building itself is a solid structure with a few floors. We have the usual hospital smell of disinfectant and floor cleaner. The waiting area has rows of metal chairs and a small TV that usually isn't working right or just shows static. People sit there and wait their turn. We have some plants in pots near the entrance, but they struggle with the dust from the road. Ammapettai is a busy area and we stay busy too. The nurses are always moving around and there is always someone needing something. We don't have a big cafeteria or anything, just a small place to get water. It is a practical hospital for the people living along this stretch of the road. We do our work, the sun goes down, and we do it again the next day. It is just how things go at No. 29 Cuddalore Main Road. There is always a lot of activity near the front gate.
