If you head down Fort Road towards Eksila Nagar, you’ll find our office. Reliance Energy Limited has been operating out of 16-3-786 for a while now. Warangal gets pretty hot in the summer, so we’re always glad for the shade inside. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main city markets, but it still keeps us plenty busy. We mostly deal with the day-to-day stuff that comes with energy distribution. There’s a lot of back-and-forth with the local crews. The building itself is very straightforward, nothing too modern or flashy at all. We keep some plastic chairs out for people waiting to talk to us about their accounts. Most of the staff here grew up around Andhra Pradesh, so we know the local area really well. We don't spend much on decorations or big signs. It’s more about keeping the computers running and making sure the records are right at the end of the day. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we just have to wait it out. That's just life in a regional office. We see a lot of the same faces coming in for help. We try to keep things simple and honest. No one here is wearing a suit and tie unless there’s a big meeting. Usually, it’s just shirts and trousers. We’ve got a small kitchen area where we make tea. It’s a basic setup, but it’s ours. Being near the Fort means there’s some history around, but we’re mostly focused on the present work.
