Pugal X- Ray'S & Clinic Lab has been operating out of Pennagaram for a long time. It is a simple setup where people come when they need their blood tested or a quick scan after a fall. Most folks around here know the name because there aren't too many places doing this kind of work in our immediate area. The machines take up a lot of space in the back rooms, and there is usually a bit of a hum from the equipment running all day. We try to get the results back to people as fast as the machines allow. It is a practical kind of place. You walk in, give your details, and wait your turn in the plastic chairs. Pennagaram is a place where everyone knows everyone else, so there is a lot of chatting in the waiting room while people wait for their names to be called. We aren't a big fancy diagnostic center from the city. We just have what is needed to help the local doctors figure out what is wrong with their patients. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when several families arrive at once, but we manage. The staff lives nearby too, so we are all neighbors at the end of the day. It is just about getting the work done right so people can get on with their lives. We keep the floors mopped and the lightbulbs changed, and that is about it for the atmosphere here. People around town know we are here if they need us.
