Panduranga Stores

My family has been at Panduranga Stores on 1st Main Road for a while now. We're right here in Shevapet, at number 466. It gets pretty busy in the mornings when everyone is heading to work or dropping kids off. I usually open up early to make sure the floor is swept and the shelves look okay. It’s not a huge place, just a regular shop where people come for their usual things. Sometimes the delivery trucks arrive late and things get a bit messy in the back, but we manage. Most of the folks who come in are neighbors we've known for years. We talk about the weather or how the local traffic is getting worse. I spend a lot of time checking the stock and writing down what we need to order next. It is mostly just me and a couple of helpers keeping things moving. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just stacks of boxes and bags. The lights flicker sometimes if we have too many things plugged in at once. Shevapet is a good area though, lots of activity. People know they can just walk in and find what they need without a fuss. We don't really do much advertising because everyone around here already knows where we are on the main road. It is just a simple store doing its thing every day. We close up when the sun goes down and start again tomorrow.
