We have been working out of this building for a good bit of time and it has become like a second home to most of us. The air usually smells like whatever we are processing that day which is mostly different kinds of food products and local spices. We spend a lot of time on our feet moving boxes around and making sure everything is sealed up tight. It isn’t a glamorous job but it is steady and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We get deliveries coming in from local suppliers and then we have to sort through all of it to make sure it’s good enough to pack. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back on. We don’t have a lot of fancy signs or decorations. We just have our equipment and our storage area. Most of the people who work here have been with us for years so we don’t really need a lot of instructions anymore. We just know what needs to happen every morning when we open up. It is just a regular local business trying to do honest work without making a big deal out of it.
