Murugan Hospital

Murugan Hospital is situated on the corner of Bhavani Road and Post Office Road in Salem. It’s a very central spot, which makes it easy for people coming from different parts of the city. We aren't one of those massive hospitals where you get lost in the hallways. Our building is older and has been a fixture in the neighborhood for years. The post office is right nearby, so there is always a lot of activity on the road outside. You’ll hear the buses and the motorbikes throughout the day. Inside, we try to keep things as calm as possible. The floors are a bit worn from all the feet walking over them, but that just shows how many people we’ve seen over the years. We don't have a team of people writing fancy brochures. We just have our staff who show up and do their work. It’s a practical place for people who need help without all the extra fuss. Sometimes the waiting area gets full, especially on Monday mornings, and people have to stand out by the door. We do our best to get to everyone who walks through that entrance. The fans hum in the background and we keep a stack of old newspapers for people to read while they wait for their turn. Salem is a place where you get to know the families living on each street, and it’s no different here at our place. We just take things one day at a time.
