We’ve been here at Varthappan Street in the Fort area of Salem for a while now. It’s a busy spot, really tucked into the heart of the city. If you know Salem, you know how the traffic gets around here, especially during the day when everyone is moving goods around. Our place at 36/15 isn't some fancy glass building, it’s just where we get our work done. We handle exports, which sounds like a big word, but mostly it’s just a lot of checking boxes, packing things right, and making sure the paperwork is sorted for the trucks. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets blocked by a delivery van, but we just keep going. The neighbors know us, and we know them. It’s a tight space with desks and files everywhere. People come in and out all day. We started small and stayed in this old part of town because it feels right. You won't find us on any big billboard. We just focus on the orders that come in. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at shipping lists. It’s honest work. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take our breaks. Being in Tamil Nadu, we deal with the heat too, but the fans in the office keep things moving. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to do things correctly from our corner of Salem.
